Continue parenteral nutrition and consider consultation with neonatology

PPN at 60 ml/kg/day + feeds at 80 ml/kg/day (TF 140) (Fortify to 24 kcal/oz)

Start IVF for all infants

Clinical need for IV fluids?

32-33 week prematurity

Breastfeeding + feeds at 20 ml/kg/day EBM or PE20

PPN at 70 ml/kg/day + feeds at 50 ml/kg/day (TF 120)

PPN at 80 ml/kg/day + feeds at 20 ml/kg/day (TF 100)

Inclusion Criteria
  • 32-34 week prematurity
  • No contraindications to starting enteral feeds
Exclusion Criteria
  • Any clinical illness for which enteral feeding would be contraindicated

Breastfeeding + feeds at 50 ml/kg/day EBM or PE20
